How to split a PDF

Splitting a PDF lets you pull out just the pages you need or break a big file into smaller ones. You can pick pages visually from the preview, enter a page range, or export every page as its own PDF.

  1. Click Choose a PDF or drop a single PDF file.
  2. In the preview, click the pages you want, or choose Page range / Typed pages.
  3. Or pick Every page separately to get one PDF per page.
  4. Click Split PDF and download the result.

Frequently asked questions

Can I select non-consecutive pages?

Yes. Click any pages in the preview, or type something like 1,3,5-7 in the typed-pages field.

Does splitting change the original file?

No. Your original stays untouched; the tool creates new PDFs with the pages you chose.

Is it private?

Yes. Everything is processed locally in your browser.
