How to calculate GST
To add GST, multiply the base amount by the GST rate and divide by 100, then add it to the base. To remove GST from an inclusive price, divide by (100 + rate) and multiply by 100 to get the base amount.
For intra-state transactions the GST is split equally into CGST and SGST, each being half of the total rate.
